Update Document Templates to Display Knowledge Relationship Links

You can update knowledge document templates from a previous release of CA SDM to display knowledge relationships. You modify the template by adding the {TAG_PARENT} and {TAG_RELATED} tags, allowing documents using the template to display document relationships, such as parent-child links and tenant.

To modify templates to display knowledge relationships

1. Open the knowledge document template.

   The Update Document Template page appears.

2. Click Edit.
3. Select the HTML Source view.

   Note: You can also click Edit Detail open the HTML Editor and add the {TAG_PARENT} and {TAG_RELATED} tags.

4. Select Select Template Placeholder on the Edit Detail dropdown to add tags to the document template.

   The tags are added to the template.

5. Save and close the template.

   The template is updated to display knowledge relationships.
