iPhone

For iPhone devices, you can access CA Open Space in two ways:

For mobile browsing, use the Safari browser to navigate to <your Open Space URL>/mobileapp, and enter your login information.

Example: http://openspace.ca.com/mobileapp.

The iPhone free application from the Apple Application Store allows you to access all of the CA Open Space key features on your web-enabled Apple OS devices. Once you download the application, you enter settings that enable the communication with the host system. Enter the CA Open Space URL and login credentials into the iPhone app settings. You are asked for the URL and login credentials when you launch the application, without the setting.

The iPhone application settings are as follows:

Server URL

Provides the URL to access CA Open Space.

Value: CA Open Space server URL

Username

Defines the username for the login authorization.

Value: CA Open Space username

Password

Defines the password for the login authorization.

Value: CA Open Space password

Note: This iPhone app is the same iPhone app that was developed CA Open Space SaaS version, which can also work for CA Open Space 2.0 (on-premise version). It is recommended that the authentication (such as LDAP server) and CA Open Space servers are geographically co-located.
