OPSVSAM Function

The OPSVSAM function enables OPS/REXX programs running in a non-AOF environment to read and write VSAM KSDS, ESDS, and RRDS files. Rules do not permit access to VSAM files. Supported VSAM functions include: open, close, point, read, read for update, update, insert, delete, and end request.

Note: The OPSVSAM function can be used in OPS/REXX or AOF rules.
