The GLOBALTEMPUSED parameter displays the number of temporary global variables in use. This number includes all of the data related to relational tables that were defined with the GLOBAL TEMPORARY operand. Each row in a relational table that has been designated as GLOBAL TEMPORARY counts as a single temporary global variable.
