Function Argument

The function argument determines the type of USS information that the subfunction argument returns or processes.

The valid functions are:

PROCESS: Retrieves matching USS process (task) information for the subfunction selection criteria.
USER: Retrieves user information for a particular USS user ID or user name.
GROUP: Retrieves group information for a particular USS group ID or group name.
INFO: Retrieves the USS dub status for the current task.
SET: Changes the effective user ID or group ID of the current process to the value specified, if allowed by the security system.
