Values Returned

The OPSARMST function returns a count of ARM elements that match the selection criteria that the function arguments specify. If an error was encountered executing the function, -1 is returned. If ARM is not active on the system, -2 is returned. When an error is the result of a failure in the IBM IXCQUERY macro call, a diagnostic message that contains the return and reason codes from IXCQUERY is also produced. The IBM IXCQUERY macro call provides the ARM data for this function.

Note: For more information about these return and reason codes, see the IBM documentation.
