OPSVSAM Function

The OPSVSAM function lets OPS/REXX programs that run in a non-AOF environment to read and write VSAM KSDS, ESDS, and RRDS files. Rules do not permit access to VSAM files. The supported VSAM functions include: open, close, point, read, read for update, update, insert, delete, and end request.

Note: You can use the OPSVSAM function in OPS/REXX or AOF rules.

OPSVSAM has the following format:
