The CA CCS Common Variable Service component must be installed on each system in which CA OPS/MVS automation will be creating and manipulating sysplex variables. Refer to CCS Common Variable Service (CAVARSRV) documentation for complete details on installing and utilizing this CCS component.
No special installation requirements or parameters are needed within CA OPS/MVS to use this function. However, the GLVNOTIFYRULES CA OPS/MVS parameter needs to be set to YES, if AOF GLV rules will be created to process specific sysplex variables.
