ADDRESS HWS Commands

The ADDRESS HWS host command environment requires the CA Common Services Hardware Interface Service (HiSrv) to interact with IBM’s BCPii which allows you to perform the following tasks:

• Execute hardware commands through BCPii.
• Retrieve system attributes through BCPii.
• Update system attributes through BCPii.

ADDRESS HWS requires that the INITHWS parameter must be set to YES. ADDRESS HWS is only available in an OPS/REXX program and an AOF Request (REQ) rules environment.
