Warning About Level T Messages

Messages with a severity level of T represent trace or debug messages. Level T messages are written directly to the OPSLOG. Because they are not WTO messages, they are not written to the system log.

Changing the severity level of level T messages can seriously impact your automation. It could, in fact, cause CA OPS/MVS to shut down due to an excessive WTO message rate.

For these reasons, do not change the severity levels of level T messages unless you first increase the values of the MESSAGERATE and MESSAGEMAX parameters.
