Introduction to Customization

You can customize CA Network Flow Analysis to ensure that users get the best results from the reports they display and generate.

Once CA Network Flow Analysis is registered as a data source, you perform some configuration and customization tasks in CA Performance Center or CA NetQoS Performance Center. You use one of these programs to perform administrate users, roles, SNMP profiles, and many types of groups.

As an Administrator for CA Network Flow Analysis, you can perform the following customization tasks in the NFA console:

• Create and manage interface aggregations
• Create and manage the templates that set interface naming conventions
• Create protocol groups
• Label ToS values
• Create ToS groups
• Customize AS (Autonomous System) names
• Name routers
• Create time filters
• Create reporting periods
