To display CA Anomaly Detector data in reports, you must add CA Anomaly Detector as a data source to CA NetQoS Performance Center, then configure it. Once these tasks are complete, CA Anomaly Detector exports data to CA NetQoS Performance Center, and the data is displayed on the Anomaly Detector report page.
Follow the basic steps in this topic to add CA Anomaly Detector as a data source for CA NetQoS Performance Center. For more information, see the CA NetQoS Performance Center Administrator and User Guide.
Follow these steps:
The Data Source List page opens.
The Add New Data Source page opens.
All related products and selected third-party integrations are listed in the Source Type list regardless of whether they are installed in your environment. If a data source type is not listed, check to see if you have already registered the maximum number of data sources for that type.
Select https if your network uses SSL for communications. If you select the https option, verify that you have configured the system correctly for https access. For more information, see the Single Sign-on User Guide.
The port you specify depends on the protocol you select. The recommended port for the http protocol is port 80. The recommended port for the https protocol is port 443. If you plan to use SSL for communications between CA NetQoS Performance Center and the data sources, see the Single Sign-on User Guide.
The default setting is for the Web Console address to be the same as the Host Name.
If you do not specify a name, a default name is used, which consists of the data source type combined with the host name. For example, you can specify AnomalyDetector_London as the Display Name, or the program uses a default name such as AnomalyDetector@xxx.x.x.xx.
If the connection fails, verify that the server name or IP address is accurate for the source type. If the connection fails again, check the following location on the installation server to verify that the appropriate web service is installed:
http://<hostname>/AnomalyDetector/OdbcService.asmx
<install_path>\Portal\Integration\AnomalyDetector\OdbcService.asmx, where the default installation directory is C:\CA\NFA.
You return to the Data Source List page, which shows CA Anomaly Detector in the list.
