Set Up Groups

Creating custom groups to organize the management of items in CA Performance Center dashboards is a recommended best practice. Custom groups are required to let operators see performance data from the routers they manage.

Properly configured, groups can prevent operators from viewing particular data for security reasons. The administrator can selectively grant users access to data that falls within their area of responsibility, such as a physical location or subnet.
