Packet Tracing

You can trace packets between your system and the IP nodes by issuing SmartTrace line commands beside the IP node that you want to diagnose. For example, you can issue the PT command to start a trace. When a trace is active, a T appears in the Ovr column.

The PT command lets you specify optional criteria to limit the trace. It also lets you specify whether you want to create a separate trace for each new connection during the current tracing session.

You can list the started traces from the TCP/IP : Packet Tracing Menu.
