Migrate IPLOG Records

(Optional) The format of IPLOG has changed. If you want to use the records, migrate them. To migrate IPLOG records, do not use IDCAMS REPRO.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log on to your new region.
  2. Enter CMD at the command prompt.

    A command entry panel appears.

  3. Enter the following command: 
    SUBMIT BSYS $IPLO82Z ACTION=IMPORT DSNAME=old_iplog_data_set_name

    Note: Migration of large numbers of records can take significant time, and performance depends on the I/O subsystems used.
