&ZVTAMSA

Returns the subarea number of VTAM.

If supported by the version of VTAM, the system variable &ZVTAMSA is set to the value of the VTAM subarea number.

Example: &ZVTAMSA

&WRITE DATA=VTAM SUBAREA=&ZVTAMSA

Note: &ZVTAMSA is only available on IBM systems. Other systems return a null value.
