&ZAPPCSND

Contains a send indication that has not yet been received, but will be set on the next receive operation.

APPC allows the NCL procedure to receive data on one operation, and send the data on to the next, but only if the conversation was about to change direction. In this case the &ZAPPCSND would indicate YES, meaning that if a subsequent receive is issued, the what-received indicator, &ZAPPCWRI, would be set to SEND. Otherwise it is set to NO.

Example: &ZAPPCSND

&DOWHILE &ZAPPCSND EQ NO
