TRANSMIT Command

The TRANSMIT command (or its pseudonym XMIT) can issue one or more transmission requests. It can be issued by any user with request privilege. Normal private, system, and access mask checking applies. The TRANSMIT command can be used from an NCL procedure that is being executed by an authorized user.

Note: The Background Monitor and Logger regions cannot execute the TRANSMIT command. For information about the syntax of this command, see the online help.
