Change a Setting

Issue the following command to change a setting:

F server,HARVESTER,SETFLAG,command,value

where

server

Specifies the server name.

command

Specifies one of the commands listed in the section Synchronous Data Gatherer.

value

Specifies the new value.

DB2HVSE1, DB2HVSE2, and DB2HVSE3 cannot be modified.

Example:

F MATUNER,HARVESTER,SETFLAG,DB2HVLOC,NO

The following messages will be displayed in the server JES log:

TN3443I The old setting for DB2HVLOC was YES
TN3444I The new setting for DB2HVLOC is NO
TN3431I Harvester command processed for: SETFLAG,DB2HVLOC,NO
