Allocating DASD Control Files

A DASD control file is a data set residing on a DASD that is accessible to all systems running CA MIM.

Note: When using the CTCDASD communication method, CA MIM directs most transactions to the virtual control file and suppresses I/O operations to the DASD control file. Initializing or migrating transaction are the exception and they are directed to the DASD control file.
