Running ATMCOMM

To run ATMCOMM, it is recommended that you place a statement in the PROFILE EXEC file of the operator to invoke the ATMCOMM program. Using this method, you can be sure that the correct ATMCOMM options are invoked at startup.

If you choose to invoke ATMCOMM from the PROFILE EXEC file, your statement should be entered as the last line in the file. However, you also can choose to start ATMCOMM from the CMS command line. Both methods of invoking ATMCOMM are discussed in the following sections.
