Message Routing by ATMCOMM

To reduce the system overhead associated with IUCV transmissions, ATMCOMM blocks the messages it passes to and from CA MIC in a buffer. Messages accumulate in the buffer until one of the following events occurs:

• The buffer fills up
• No pending messages from *MSG

When either event happens, ATMCOMM sends the buffer contents to CA MIC.
