A target console is a console located on an external system through which a local command source can issue commands. The command response (solicited WTO) is directed by z/OS to this console, and CA MIC then redirects the response back to the original command source. You can allow CA MIC to select your target consoles or you can define them yourself. For more information on target consoles, see the CA MIC Message Sharing for z/OS Programmer Guide.
