5.3.1 Server Access Log File (WLGSAL)
The HTTP Access Log (WLGSAL) File is derived from the HTTP
Access, FRCA Access, Proxy, and Proxy Cache log data. The
data contained in the logs provides information about who
accesses WEB server pages, when the access took place, what
the access was, whether the access completed successfully or
encountered errors, and the amount of data transferred. This
log file contains event data and is collected and reported
each time a designated system event occurs. It represents
the status of the system at the time the event occurred.
Finally, the data in the logs determines the quantity of data
transmitted.
The HTTP Access Log data, along with the data from the other
logs, help you to monitor individual access activity, cache
usage, and errors.
The following sections describe the file's organization, list
data elements maintained, and provide usage hints.
