5.2.3.11.4 SVTRMR Retrieval Examples

In the examples, a SAS macro variable is used to specify the
DDname part of the CA MICS file name. These macro variables
are a standard part of CA MICS and are available for all
files. The macro variable name has the form &diiit, where d
is the database identifier, iii is the information area
name, and t is the timespan. For the examples, a database
identifier of P is used. The identifier is installation
dependent, so you should find out what the identifiers are at
your installation.

 1. Generate a report displaying real tape mount
      activity and mount response time by hour.

           %LET BY    = SYSID VTSSID VTSSSCL HOUR;
           %LET BREAK = HOUR;
           PROC SORT DATA=&psvtd..SVTRMR01 OUT=RMR;
             BY &BY;
           RUN;
           DATA RMR2; SET RMR;
               %RMRSUM(SUMBY=&BY, SUMBREAK=&BREAK);
           RUN;
           PROC PRINT DATA=RMR2 LABEL NOOBS;
             BY SYSID VTSSID;
             VAR SYSID VTSSID VTSSSCL HOUR RMRCOUNT
                 RMRAVMTM RMRMXMTM RMRMTM RMRMTR RMRMTL
                 RMRMTD RMRMTA RMRMTC RMRMTX;
             TITLE 'RTD Mount Activity';
           RUN;

      Note: Drop storage class from the BY and VAR
            statements to get gross mounts by SYSID and
            VTSSID.
