6.2.10 Recording Channel Report Word Record (CRW)

The CRW records are written to the ERDS for all software- and
hardware-generated channel report words.  Software-generated
CRW's are created by IOS modules to invoke channel path
recovery.  Hardware-generated CRW's are created by the
channel to provide information describing a machine
malfunction affecting a specific or a collection of channel
subsystem facilities.

The record type is 25.
