The WebSphere MQ log manager helps ensure that important messages are backed up on DASD storage. While necessary for backup and recovery, message logging can be one of the biggest factors contributing to overall MQ message elapsed time. This query provides a good overview of the logging activity for each Queue Manager. Try to keep the percentage of no-wait log writes near 100 percent.
