5.2.2 Network Components Activity File (SNTCAF)

The Network Components Activity File (SNTCAF) contains data
that quantifies input and output character traffic, error and
retransmit counts, polling statistics for SDLC physical and
logical units, BISYNC clusters and terminals, x.25 machine
physical units, virtual circuits, LUs, TIC3 physical units,
and other network components for which data is recorded.
 
This file is derived from NPM and CA NetSpy running on z/OS
or VM systems.
 
Data from SDLC links, BISYNC links, X.25 links, NTRI links,
and TIC3 links is included in the SNTNCL (NCP Link) file and
therefore excluded from this file.  Data about 37xx NCP
activity is included in the SNTNAF (NCP Activity) file and
therefore excluded from this file.
