5.4.9 TCP Statistics File (TCPTCI)

The TCP Statistics (TCPTCI) file quantifies Transmission
Control Protocol (TCP) statistics.  The TCP allows to
transmit variable length segments enclosed in internet
datagram envelopes.  The datagrams contain information about
source and destination TCPs in different networks.  Moreover,
the internet protocol also provides means to deal with
fragmentation and reassembly of TCP segmentation.
 
The TCP is a highly reliable host-to-host protocol providing
connectivity between hosts in packet-switched communication
network, and interconnected systems of such networks.
 
This file is derived from TCP statistics section of the SMF
record type 119 subtype 5 (TCP/IP Statistics record).
