2.15.1 Usage Guidelines

 
The Tandem CPU Resource Planning Sample Application provides
a capacity planning database file with the database elements
you need for basic tracking, reporting, and forecasting of
Tandem systems.  The information for this application is
derived from the CA MICS Tandem Analyzer's CPU Entity File
(TDMCPE) and, optionally, the System Profile File (TDMSYP).

The Tandem CPU Resource Planning Sample Application allows
you to plan by CPU number within the Tandem System by using
the Capacity Planning Application Unit (CAPAPU) feature.
There are three options available for CAPAPU value:
 
 1)  CPUNUM assigns each CPU Number to a CAPAPU value
 
 2)  NONE does not assign a CAPAPU value
 
 3)  EXIT assigns a CAPAPU value that you specify in the
     CAPAURT exit.
