10.1.2 Add or Change Serial Numbers for a System


It is necessary to change the CPU serial and model numbers
for an installed system when you upgrade from one processor
type to another. This process involves either the
modification of existing OPTIONS or ALTCPU statements or the
addition of ALTCPU statements in VMCOPS.  This requires a
VMCPGEN execution.
