7.2 Unit Level Parameters

This section shows you how to specify the operational
parameters which control the processing of the CA MICS VM and
CMS Analyzer. Operational parameters are stored in the
prefix.MICS.PARMS library associated with the database unit
you will be running. These parameters are incorporated into
the CA MICS system by the VMCPGEN process. Note that you must
run the VMCPGEN process for these options to take effect.

Figure 7-3 identifies the SAS code generated during the
VMCPGEN process.

+------------+-----------------+------------+------------+
| MICS.PARMS | USER.SOURCE | USER.LOAD | MICS.PARMS |
| Input | Output Members | Output | Output |
| Members | and MACRO Names | Formats | Members |
+------------+-----------------+------------+------------+
| | | | |
| VMCOPS | #VMCMSTR | VMCSYS | WORKVMC |

The sections which follow describe the parameters which must
be completed in prefix.MICS.PARMS(VMCOPS) prior to VMCPGEN
execution.

3 - Database Space Modeling (DBMODEL)
