6.2.5 Consolidated Monitor Input


If your site has more than one VM system providing monitor
data for CA MICS, you have the option of using separate DD
names for each system, or a single DD name for all systems.
If you are using tape to supply data to the VM and CMS
Analyzer, using consolidated input can reduce the number of
tape drives required by the DAY080 step of the daily update.
