1.5 Product Prerequisites

The CA MICS Analyzer Option for VM/CMS runs in a CA MICS
environment operating under z/OS.

You must have one or more of the following monitors
operational at any release level:

o  IBM's VM/Enterprise Systems Architecture ESA Feature

o  IBM's z/VM Systems Architecture

You must also have the CA VM Data Transfer Program or an
equivalent facility to move VM data from a VM environment to
the z/OS CA MICS environment. For VM monitor data, you must
use the CA VM Data Transfer Program to decompose and move the
data from VM to z/OS for CA MICS processing.
