How to Install the Job Management Manager
The installation consists of a number of steps designed to check your system, install Job Manager, and then initialize Job Manager. You must complete the following tasks in the following order:
- Mount the distribution media
- Run the Installation Procedure
- Specify a temporary directory to unzip the savesets
- Check your system backup
- View and accept the License Agreement
- Run the Installation Verification Procedure
- Start the applicaton after the installation
- Purge previous version files
- Choose whether to install the DECwindows interface
- Choose support for remote command execution
- Choose a product common directory location
- Choose a node specific directory location
- Stop CAM and CAFT
- Remove CAM
- Activate the CA NSM integration componencts (optional)
- Choose products for automatic startup after installation
- Specify the CA NSM Manager system
- Specify the UIC of the CAUNIVMS account
