- Double-click on the job in the Graphical Display window, or select the job in either Display window and choose Edit... from the Jobs menu.
The primary Job Edit dialog box appears.
- Click on the button labeled Day Class Restrictions... in the dialog box.
A dialog box appears for entering Day Class Restrictions.
- Double-click on available Special Day Classes in the left-hand list box to transfer them to the right-hand list box of classes by which the job will be restricted.
The class names move to the right-hand list box.
- You can also remove Special Day Classes individually from the right-hand list box by Double-clicking on them there, or clear all restrictions by clicking on Clear Restrictions.
The class names move to the left-hand list box.
- After you have chosen all Special Day Classes you want to apply to the job, click on one of the two left-hand radio buttons to choose whether the job will not run on included days, or will run only on included days.
The radio button is highlighted.
- Click on one of the two right-hand radio buttons to choose whether the job will be skipped on a Special Day or placed on hold until operator intervention.
The button is highlighted.
- Click on OK to set the Day Class Restrictions.
A DECwindows message box appears informing you that the job has been modified.
- Click on OK in the DECwindows message box.
The Day Class Restrictions dialog box is cleared from the screen.
- If you want to notify a job owner by Mail when a Special Day Action occurs, click on Auxiliary Options... in the primary Job Edit dialog box, and then click on the appropriate radio button at the bottom of the Auxiliary Options dialog box.
The button is highlighted.
- Click on OK in the Auxiliary Options dialog box.
A DECwindows message box appears.
- Click on OK in the DECwindows message box.
The Auxiliary Options dialog box is cleared from the screen.
- Click on OK in the primary Job Edit dialog box.
The dialog box is cleared from the screen.
