The Callable Interface (SDK)

CA Job Management for OpenVMS supports a callable Software Developer’s kit (SDK) on OpenVMS. This interface lets you write programs that access CA Job Management for OpenVMS. During installation, the library files NSCHED_SUBS.OLB and CLIB.OLB are placed in the NSCHED$EXE directory. These files contain libraries of subroutines and C utilities that you can call to access CA Job Management for OpenVMS features and functions from within the program.

In addition to the API library, the following files are placed in the NSCHED$DATA directory when you install the callable interface option:

• VSSDEFS.H
• HCIDEF.H
• HCISELECT.H
• NSCHED_JOB_FIELDS.H
• EXAMPLE_CREATE.C
