For functions that involve timing between different nodes, such as maximum run time and start time for remote or batch mode jobs, system times must be synchronized.
If you are concerned about synchronizing local and remote databases, there are at least two areas of synchronization to consider:
For time synchronization, simply verify the time of each server initially. The manager does not do any time correction for remote sites. Remote job dependencies occur because the remote dependency completed, and sent a RUN message across the net to the local dependent (or vice versa), not because of any time synchronization.
For job dependency synchronization, verify the following:
