CA JCLCheck Online

You can run CA JCLCheck online in various time-sharing environments. CA JCLCheck supplies interfaces for TSO and CA Roscoe. CA JCLCheck accommodates other time‑sharing systems with the dynamic invocation feature.

Note: For information about invoking CA JCLCheck dynamically, see Special Usage Considerations.

You invoke CA JCLCheck using a CLIST under TSO. The CLIST provided reads JCL stored in a data set. The CLIST displays erroneous statements and associated messages at the terminal. Alternatively, you can install CA JCLCheck as a command processor. You can then invoke CA JCLCheck as you would a normal TSO command.

CA JCLCheck includes a dialog manager interface for use with the IBM ISPF/PDF running under MVS. You can use this feature either to run CA JCLCheck in the foreground or to submit a job for background processing. Menus and a HELP facility are included with this interface. You can scan JCL in CA Librarian, CA Panvalet, or a PDS.

Optional program product interfaces are available for use under MVS.
