The ADDCARDS panel contains the defaults for up to five control statements, which are placed in front of every selected JCL statement member being processed. The name of each member is placed after the first blank of the first ADDCARD as it is processed. The subsequent ADDCARD statements are placed following the first one.
The purpose of this feature is to insert control statements for library management products such as CA Librarian, CA Panvalet, IBM IEBUPDTE, or any other product being used which requires control statements.
