Input Numeric Fields

CA JARS Wizard performs automatic processing on the input numeric fields. These functions include:

Suffix

Function

(AV)

Determines the average value of the field by dividing the control level accumulator for the field by the number of records processed in the control group.

(MN)

Determines the lowest value encountered for the field in the control group.

(MX)

Determines the highest value encountered for the field in the control group.

(PC)

Determines what percentage of the field's total file value comprises the control group's field total value.

(SD)

Automatically computes the standard deviation of the field based upon the values in the relevant control group.

(TL)

Computes the total value of the field at input selection time and makes this value available for subsequent computations.
