JARSWZ12 produces an output file that contains the same records as the primary input file but with some modifications. A secondary file is used to extract the department name for each primary input file record matching the selection criteria. This department name is then included in the selected records in the output file.
This example is a typical input file update application that processes the primary input file, edits the USER INFO field contents when the record is a job or one-step job record with a processing ID of S (SMF) or T (TSO). An updated file is then created.
