JARSWZ01 produces a report showing job statistics by job name. Only job or one-step job records with processing IDs of S (SMF) or T (TSO) are listed. Data is given alphabetically by job name.
The only processing function executed in this example is to sort the records by job name.The sort can be eliminated if the file is already in the desired sequence.
The CA JARS input files tend to be very large, and selection of records for processing must be considered when designing a CA JARS Wizard program. Some of the remaining examples in this chapter show how to select and summarize records to obtain data in a more useful and less lengthy format.
