This report provides information collected by RMF (EXTDATA type R72W) about execution delays as viewed by WLM. The data is totaled over all available intervals, and broken down by service class period, service class, and workload. Only service classes are reported.
This report can be used to understand causes of delays in service classes that are missing their goals.
The fields in the report are as follows:
Execution velocity.
Percentage of samples during which the work was using CPs or zAAPs or zIIPs.
Percentage of samples during which the work was doing I/O.
Percentage of samples during which the work was using cryptographic processors.
Percentage of unknown samples.
Percentage of samples during which the work was idle.
Percentage of samples during which the work was quiesced by RESET command.
Percentage of all delay samples.
Percentage of samples during which the work was waiting for CPU to be dispatched or waiting for lock.
Percentage of samples during which the work was delayed due to CPU capping.
Percentage of samples during which the work was delayed due to swap-in.
Percentage of samples during which the work was delayed due to paging.
Percentage of samples during which the work was delayed due to DASD I/O.
Percentage of samples during which the work was waiting in the server queue.
Percentage of samples during which the work was waiting for cryptographic processors.
