Update and Import Environment Definitions
Import the environments back into CA IdentityMinder as you did the directory definitions. Unlike before, update the environment xml before importing by referencing the SiteMinder 4.X agent in the environment definition. SiteMinder is called and the proper domain configurations are made to protect your CA IdentityMinder environments.
Follow these steps:
- Before you import your environment definitions, specify the 4.X agent that you created.
- Unlike the directory exports, the environment export is in the form of a zip file. To update the XXX_environment.xml file, explore the zip without unzipping it. Drag a copy of the file out of the folder for editing and backup.
- Copy the .xml file. Insert a reference to the 4.X agent at the end of the file using xml brackets: agent="idmagent".
- Save and paste the file back into the zip file.
- Open the CA IdentityMinder Management Console and click Environments and then Import.
- Enter the name of the updated environment zip file.
- Click Finish and review the import output.
- Repeat this process for all your remaining environments.
- Restart the Application Server.
