Import the Directory Definitions

To prepare for importing the environments, import the directories that the environments reference. With communication now established, directory imports to CA IdentityMinder trigger user directory imports into SiteMinder.

Follow these steps:

1. With CA IdentityMinder running and connected to SiteMinder, navigate to the CA IdentityMinder Management Console.
2. Click Directories and then click Create or Update from XML.
3. Select your Identity Store xml.
4. Click Next.
5. Click Finish and review the load output. Look for the creation in both CA IdentityMinder and SiteMinder.
6. Repeat these steps for the Provisioning Store and any remaining directories.
7. Log in to the SiteMinder Administrative UI to validate the creation of the user directories.
