Export the CA IdentityMinder Directories and Environments

The integration process removes all of the current environment and directory definitions. To help ensure that this information is maintained, you export the environments using the CA IdentityMinder Management Console. After you complete the integration, use these definitions to restore the directories and environments.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the CA IdentityMinder Management Console.
  2. Click Directories.
  3. Click the first directory in the list.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the window and click Export.
  5. Click Save and archive the directory xml file.
  6. Repeat this process for the remaining directories in your environment.
  7. Click Home in the top left and then click Environments. Select the box next to the first environment.
  8. Click Export.
  9. Repeat this process for the remaining environments.

    Note: This process can take a few minutes for each environment.
