Unicast Support for JBoss 6.1 EAP

For customers who install CA IdentityMinder on a JBoss 6.1 EAP cluster, unicast is an alternative messaging protocol to multicast. We recommend testing both protocols to determine the best choice for your organization. For details on using either protocol, see the JBoss version of the Installation Guide.

If you are upgrading, the following situations may apply:

• You are installing CA IdentityMinder for the first time on JBoss 6.1 EAP. See the Upgrade Guide and the Tech Doc, TEC604360, which provides information on the initial hosts for the cluster.
• You installed JBoss 6.1 EAP in a previous release of CA IdentityMinder. Use the migrate procedures, which describe how to migrate to unicast and how to migrate to use replication for message persistence.
