JDBC Connection Management

Information for CA IdentityMinder reports can come from multiple sources and each report should be associated with a specific data source, depending on the information you want to view in the report.

To establish different data sources for reporting (such as an auditing database or task persistence database), create a connection managed object in CA IdentityMinder. After creating the connection, you can associate a report with a specific connection managed object by modifying the report task and setting the Connection Object for the Report under the report task's search tab.
