Decide User Store Requirements

A CA IdentityMinder implementation must include a user store that contains the user identities that CA IdentityMinder maintains. Typically, this is an existing user store that an enterprise uses to store information about its users, such as employees and customers.

If your implementation includes provisioning, CA IdentityMinder also requires a provisioning directory that includes global users, which are associated with accounts on endpoints such as Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and Oracle.
